Hey, I’m Caleb Barbier—student pastor, writer, and lifelong learner. I’m passionate about spiritual formation, biblical languages, and guiding others to know and follow Jesus.

The greatest issue facing the world today, with all its heartbreaking needs, is whether those who, by profession or culture, are identified as 'Christians' will become disciples—students, apprentices, practitioners—of Jesus Christ, steadily learning from him how to live the life of the Kingdom of the Heavens into every corner of human existence.

I believe that following Jesus isn’t just about what we know but how we are formed. My passion lies at the intersection of spiritual formation, biblical languages, and theological reflection—helping people not only understand the faith but be shaped by it.

I serve as the Student Pastor at Springfield Baptist Church while pursuing my Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary. My work in both ministry and academics is driven by a desire to equip people to know and follow Jesus deeply—whether through teaching, writing, or discipleship.

My wife, Whitley, is a photographer and creative storyteller, capturing the beauty of both people and places. She’s passionate about authenticity, creativity, and seeing the world with fresh eyes—whether through a camera lens or in everyday life. Together, we’re committed to living simply, practicing presence, and embracing the unhurried way of Jesus.
