bienvenue, vous autres
Welcome to My Corner of the Internet
Hey, Iโm Caleb Barbierโstudent pastor, writer, and lifelong learner. Iโm passionate about spiritual formation, biblical languages, and guiding others to know and follow Jesus.
This space is where faith, theology, and language meetโa collection of my work in ministry, รฉtudes de franรงais, biblical studies, and writing. Whether youโre here for sermons, theological reflections, or just a fresh perspective on following Jesus, I hope you find something that challenges and encourages you.
Latest Teaching
In Isaiah 25, God paints a powerful picture of a feast on His holy mountainโa table set for all nations, where death is swallowed up and every tear is wiped away. This isnโt just a distant hope; itโs a reality we begin to taste now through Jesus.
In my latest teaching, "Feasting on the Mountain," I explore what this vision means for us todayโhow Godโs invitation to the table redefines our faith, our future, and our mission.

About
I believe that following Jesus isnโt just about what we know but how we are formed. My passion lies at the intersection of spiritual formation, biblical languages, and theological reflectionโhelping people not only understand the faith but be shaped by it.
I serve as the Student Pastor at Springfield Baptist Church while pursuing my Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies at Western Seminary. My work in both ministry and academics is driven by a desire to equip people to know and follow Jesus deeplyโwhether through teaching, writing, or discipleship.
My wife, Whitley, is a photographer and creative storyteller, capturing the beauty of both people and places. Sheโs passionate about authenticity, creativity, and seeing the world with fresh eyesโwhether through a camera lens or in everyday life. Together, weโre committed to living simply, practicing presence, and embracing the unhurried way of Jesus.
Whether youโre here to dive into Greek and Hebrew, explore spiritual disciplines, engage with theological reflections, or see the world through a creative lens, I hope you find something that challenges and encourages you on the journey.
